Where things stand.
Thanks to the generosity and energy of our community, our new playground is officially in production! We’ve partnered with a trusted vendor to bring an inclusive, joyful space to life- something that reflects our kids, our values, and the beauty of Magnolia. It's going to be a beautiful space for climbing, running, imagining, and connecting.
What’s with those dome thingies?
You didn’t think that was the playground, did you? Yea, we have something far more grand planned.
The equipment you see now is just temporary while we finalize a few details. Shipping timelines, tariffs, and seasonal production schedules have caused a slight delay. But rest assured: we’re moving forward, and our real playground is on the way.
Middle Playground Makeover
Each year, Families of Magnolia works closely with our wonderful Admin team to dream up a meaningful gift for the school—and this year, Ms. Amy asked us to add a little magic to the middle playground. We were all in.
We spent months flipping through catalogs, comparing quotes, adjusting to budgets, navigating challenging requirements, and sometimes completely pivoting our plans. It wasn’t easy (playground design and construction rarely is!), but the outcome?
Totally worth it.
What we landed on is a stunning, one-of-a-kind play structure- equal parts functional and imaginative. It’s bold. It’s beautiful. And it’s built to serve generations of Magnolia students to come. We truly couldn’t be more proud.
We’re planning to mark this milestone together with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in September. It’ll be a joyful moment to come together and see what we’ve built- thanks to you.
