The Monarch Memo is a weekly publication, distributed to the Magnolia community every week during the school year. Each week, Families of Magnolia (FOM) authors a portion of that newsletter. In the Fall of 2025, we decided to turn it into a blog, and here we are. :)

Welcome back, everyone- and cheers to a new school year at Magnolia!
We’re STILL Serious About This Playground!
Starting off with a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to our fundraising efforts last year. Because of your generosity, our brand-new play structures are officially in production!
You may notice some temporary equipment on the Middle Playground- don’t worry, they're just a placeholder. We're just waiting on a few final confirmations and due to seasonality and tariffs, things are moving a little slower than we'd hoped. Fear not- the real deal is on the way!
Stay tuned for updates and mark your calendars for a potential ribbon cutting during our First Friday in September.
